बाबा नीम करोली (Baba Neem Karoli) भारत के उत्तर-पूर्वी भाग में जन्मे थे, जiesn’their real mother. He was born on 19 September 1907 in the village of Akbarpur, Uttar Pradesh. His parents were Pooran Chand and Lakshmi Devi. They named him Laxman Singh. When he was five years old, his father died. His mother remarried and had two more sons.
Laxman Singh finished his primary education in his village and then attended high school in Shahjahanpur. After high school, he enrolled in Bareilly College to study commerce, but he dropped out after one year. In 1925, at the age of eighteen, he ran away from home to become a sannyasin or renunciate. He wandered throughout India for several years, living as a beggar and sleeping on railway platforms.
In 1942, he met Mahatma Gandhi and became deeply influenced by his philosophy of nonviolent resistance. He also met Ramana Maharshi, a Hindu saint who had a profound impact on him. After
